WWE Hall of Famer Edge will return on the July 7 episode of WWE SmackDown, which will emanate from Madison Square Garden.
As confirmed during the June 30 episode of WWE SmackDown, WWE announced that Edge will appear on SmackDown for the first time since May, as he will be the guest for a special episode of the Grayson Waller Effect. Edge last wrestled on the May 12 episode of WWE SmackDown, where he lost in a Triple Threat Match that included AJ Styles and Rey Mysterio.
Elsewhere on the show, Sheamus will challenge Ausitn Theory for the WWE United States Championship. Theory defeated Ridge Holland on the June 30 episode, and Sheamus made the save when Theory attacked Holland after the match.
Plus, AJ Styles and Karrion Kross will continue their rivalry when they clash in a singles match.
