IMPACT Wrestling Announces Steve Maclin’s Replacement At Slammiversary

Cody Deaner is getting a big opportunity at Slammiversary this weekend.

This past weekend, IMPACT Wrestling announced Steve Maclin is unable to compete at Slammiversary due to injury. Maclin suffered a serious injury during IMPACT’s recent Down Under Tour in Australia.

Maclin was scheduled to be Bully Ray’s tag team partner in a grudge match against PCO and Scott D’Amore. IMPACT said the match would continue with Bully Ray receiving a new partner. That person’s identity was revealed on Monday’s episode of Busted Open Radio.

Cody Deaner was confirmed as Bully’s new partner, noting that Cody requested a spot in the match himself.

Slammiversary is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 15 in London, Ontario, Canada. Check out the updated Slammiversary match card below:
