Ring of Honor continues to build the card for ROH Death Before Dishonor.
In a tweet on July 16, ROH announced that Athena will defend the ROH Women’s World Championship against Willow Nightingale at the pay-per-view on July 21.
The news comes just days after Nightingale defeated Athena in the semifinals of the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament on the July 14 episode of AEW Rampage.
Athena previously defeated Nightingale to retain the title on the March 9 episode of ROH TV.
ROH also announced that Katsuyori Shibata will defend the ROH Pure Championship against Daniel Garcia at the pay-per-view. More information is available here.
