World Wrestling Entertainment returns to India for the first time since 2017 with WWE Superstar Spectacle.
The company announced earlier this morning that they will return to India this September for Superstar Spectacle.
If this event name sounds familiar to you, there’s a reason for that. WWE ran an event under this name in 2001 at the WWE Performance Center that featured several talents who were born in India.
WWE Superstar Spectacle will be held at the GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium (Gachibowli Indoor Stadium), in Hyderabad, India, on Friday, September 8. Tickets for this event will go on sale this Friday.
The poster for the event doesn’t feature any SmackDown Superstars, so it appears this will be a RAW-specific event.
As of this writing, there is no confirmation that this show will air on Peacock of the WWE Network.
