WWE NXT viewership increased for its Heatwave special on August 22.
As reported by Wrestlenomics, 720,000 viewers watched the show on Tuesday. This number is up from last week when 680,000 viewers tuned in.
In the 18 to 49 demographic, NXT scored a 0.19 rating, which is level with last week (a 0.19 rating in the same demographic).
This Week’s Episode Of WWE NXT
This week’s show kicked off with Ilja Dragunov defeating Trick Williams. Later in the show, Noam Dar defeated Nathan Frazer to win the NXT Heritage Cup for a third time.
Elsewhere on the show, Dragon Lee and Lyra Valkyria defeated Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley of The Judgment Day. Additionally, Ivy Nile defeated Ava in a singles match, and The Creed Brothers returned.
In the main event, Carmelo Hayes defeated Wes Lee to retain the NXT Championship.
