Becky Lynch is coming to WWE NXT.
On the September 5 episode of WWE NXT, Tiffany Stratton defeated Kiana James to retain the NXT Women’s Championship. After the bell, Becky Lynch appeared on the video screen and announced that “The Man” is coming around to NXT. She stated that she will challenge Stratton for the title in the main event of the September 12 episode of NXT.
WWE then confirmed that the match was official.
Lynch previously responded to Stratton’s promo on the August 22 episode of WWE NXT. There, she stated that she wanted to become the greatest NXT Champion of all time, and she named Lynch as a former champion. “The Man” teased coming after the title, and the feud continued when Stratton interrupted an interview with Lynch at WWE Payback.
Lynch has not competed on NXT since the November 20, 2019, episode of WWE NXT.
