Thunder Rosa could be on her way back to the ring, according to a new report.
Rosa has been sidelined since August 2022, and her injury forced her to relinquish the AEW Women’s World Championship. The former champion recently shared footage of a meeting with AEW’s doctor, who noted that she was almost cleared to return. In the video, the doctor noted that Rosa would be having a mini-match soon.
Rosa has been on Spanish language commentary, and she has been advertised for AEW Collision. However, she has yet to appear on the show.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that, per sources, Rosa could return to in-ring action at “almost any time”, if AEW has creative for her. Sapp cited AEW sources who indicated that Rosa is ready to return.
