Zack Sabre Jr. Says He’ll End Bryan Danielson’s Career At AEW WrestleDream

Zack Sabre Jr. looks forward to facing Bryan Danielson.

As announced on the September 9 episode of AEW Collision, Bryan Danielson will face Zack Sabre Jr. at AEW WrestleDream on October 1.

In his post-match comments following NJPW Road to Destruction on September 10, Sabre Jr. responded to the news. He made it clear that he had been waiting for the match for a long time. The NJPW star also stated that he would end Danielson’s career.

“Dragon Bollocks. Bryan Danielson. About bloody time. I’ve been waiting,” Zack Sabre Jr. said. “I’ve been waiting, mate. But I can’t think of a better time, a better place than WrestleDream. October 1. The whole event is in honor of Antonio Inoki. I can’t think of a better way to honor Inoki-San than to find out who the best technical wrestler in the world really is.

“Bryan, you’re one of the greatest wrestlers that’s ever lived. But I surpassed you yonks ago, dickhead. Yonks ago. So Bryan, in 2008, you helped to kick-start my career. Darling, I’ve got some bad news for you. You don’t have another year left. 2008, you jump-started Zack Sabre Jr. In 2023, Bryan, I end your career. See you in Seattle, dickhead.”
