Brian Cage Talks His PROGRESS Debut, Previews Match Against Hangman Page

AEW star Brian Cage made his debut for PROGRESS Wrestling, as he competed at PROGRESS Chapter 155: Feel The Noize. The next day, he wrestled at PROGRESS Chapter 156: Steal Yourself. Cage beat Big Damo and Mark Haskins, respectively, at the two shows.

Speaking with PROGRESS Wrestling’s website, Brian Cage was asked to describe what made him want to wrestle for the promotion.

“All over Europe, wrestling has been super hot and it was super important for me to tick PROGRESS Wrestling off and you know what they say, better late than never,” Brian Cage said.

Cage was also asked to share his thoughts on AEW’s working relationship with PROGRESS. He stated that the way AEW CEO Tony Khan allows talent to wrestle all over the place is a blessing for everyone.

“The fact that Tony allows us to work with so many companies will diversify the wrestling community,” Brian Cage said. “Fans get to see matches and stars they usually wouldn’t get to see and it’s a blessing for everyone. It works out for everyone. The fans win, we wrestlers win and the promoters win.”

“My match with Hangman Page at Double or Nothing is one of my favorite matches I’ve had in AEW,” Brian Cage said. “Besides wanting a different outcome on Wednesday, I hope we can outshine our last two matches.”
