The NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament is coming back.
During the September 12 episode of WWE NXT, WWE announced the return of the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament with an on-screen graphic. It was noted that the tournament is coming soon. No further details were specifically provided. The winner of the Breakout Tournament will receive a title shot of her choosing.
In a backstage segment, Roxanne Perez discussed the tournament and noted that winning it in 2022 made a major impact on her career. Following her win, she unsuccessfully challenged Mandy Rose for the title. However, Perez later defeated Rose in a rematch for the title.
