MJF: Rosie O’Donnell Still Hasn’t Paid Me For My Appearance On Her Show

MJF says Rosie O’Donnell owes him money.

Long before he held the AEW World Champion, MJF appeared on The Rosie O’Donnell Show when he was five years old and sang “You Are My Sunshine”. The clip has since resurfaced, and it came up during a new interview.

Speaking with CBS New York, MJF was asked about his appearance on O’Donnell’s show. He noted that it was a traumatic day, and O’Donnell still owes him money.

“So here’s the deal, pretty traumatic day for me,” MJF said. “Rosie O’Donnell, horrible person. I gave her a very fair, flat fee. To this day, she owes me money. To this day. After I sang that well on her show. Still waiting for my check. It is what it is.”

MJF Called His Shot On Rosie O’Donnell’s Show

During the interview, it was noted that MJF said that he wanted to be a wrestler during the appearance on the show. He noted that he called his shot, as he had a dream, and he made it happen.

“I called my shot on her show,” MJF said. “I said I want to be a professional wrestler, and I think it’s really just proof, if you’re goal-oriented, it doesn’t matter if you’re a five-foot-nothing Jewish kid from Long Island. It doesn’t matter what your background is. If you want a dream, you can attain it. You just gotta sprint.

At AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, MJF will defend the AEW World Chamoionship against Samoa Joe. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs on September 20.
