Adam Copeland is jumping right into the fire with AEW.

Copeland made his AEW debut at WrestleDream, appearing at the conclusion of the main event match. He also made an appearance at the post-show media scrum with Tony Khan, who made several announcements in regard to Copeland’s AEW career.

Khan confirmed Copeland will be appearing on AEW Dynamite this Wednesday, where Copeland said he would “deliver his mission statement.” Khan also said that Copeland will be on Collision on Saturday and announced his debut match too.

Adam Copeland versus Luchasaurus is confirmed for the October 10 episode of AEW Dynamite. Khan noted how that show is a special Tuesday night broadcast of the show. Khan also noted that Copeland specifically requested the match, fitting considering how WrestleDream ended.

Adam Copeland also commented on the reason he signed with AEW. He made it clear that he wanted to contribute as much as he could, and he viewed AEW as the place to do that.

“I wanted to help, and I just felt like here, I’d really be able to do that and have the opportunity to do that. I look at an entire fresh roster of faces and so many talent that I’ve never laid hands on before. That to me, as a person who’s driven by challenges, that for me was the biggest thing.
