One thing that most professional wrestlers are determined to do is to entertain the wrestling universe every time they step foot inside the ring. The Bollywood Boyz is a faction that has always managed to entertain the audience. They don’t just try to entertain fans inside the squared circle but also manage to have fun outside it. Recently, they were given an opportunity to be a part of a hockey game involving The Vancouver Canucks.
This past weekend, in light of the Diwali festival, The Bollywood Boyz celebrated it in epic fashion. The former WWE Superstars got an opportunity to celebrate the Festival of Lights in front of a lot of hockey fans at a game featuring the Vancouver Canucks. They were the hype guys for the hockey team.
The former henchmen of Jinder Mahal also took to Twitter to thank the Canucks for the opportunity.
“Official Punjabi hype guys for the #Canucks tonight on Diwali night @Canucks @CanucksFIN @RonilDesai Thanks for the love, Vancouver For 2 guys who grew up playing ice hockey, watching the Canucks since the late 80’s this was a cool Canadian moment,” Bollywood Boyz tweeted.
Recently, the former WWE Superstars took to Twitter to once again thank the Canucks for allowing them to blend the world of professional wrestling and hockey. They also shared a video in which they were helping the Canucks’ mascot Fin with some wrestling moves such as the wrist lock and the Sharpshooter.
“The wrestling & hockey connection with @CanucksFIN Thank you Vancouver Canucks for this amazing platform to represent our wrestling business, our Punjabi community and our love for hockey. @NHL @HkyNightPunjabi @hockeynight @Canucks,” The Bollywood Boyz tweeted.
