CM Punk Rumored To Remain ‘Free Agent’ On WWE TV

CM Punk made his shocking return to WWE at WWE Survivor Series. He then appeared on the November 27 episode of WWE RAW, which marked his first time on the red brand since 2014. However, Punk reportedly is not listed as a member of the Raw roster.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Punk does not have a brand. Per Johnson, he is listed as a “free agent” on the WWE internal roster. This would mean that Punk can appear on any of the brands.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) also reported that Punk is internally listed as a free agent.

There is some precedent for free agents within WWE. Following the 2023 WWE Draft, Dolph Ziggler, Mustafa Ali, Von Wagner, Baron Corbin, Elias, Xyon Quinn, Cedric Alexander, and Shelton Benjamin were listed as free agents. It was later revealed that MVP negotiated for Omos to be a free agent. Likewise, Brock Lesnar negotiated to be a free agent as well.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
