Gisele Shaw On Grizzled Young Veterans: They’re Amazing, I Love Them

Gisele Shaw speaks highly of the Grizzled Young Veterans.

As TNA/IMPACT announced on December 26, the Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake and Zack Gibson) will make their debut at TNA Hard To Kill on January 13. The announcement prompted plenty of buzz. Fans are looking forward to seeing what the former NXT UK Tag Team Champions can do in this chapter of their careers.

During a recent interview with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard prior to the announcement, Gisele Shaw was asked about catching up with (and potentially scouting) the Grizzled Young Veterans.

“It’s really funny that you say that because I am by no means a scout at all,” Gisele Shaw said. “I just so happened to be photographed with these people, not just them, in my previous year or years and just being at the right time, right place. Then people are like, ‘Oh my God, you’re a scout.’ But with them, I think that they’re just so amazing. I really love them.”

Gisele Shaw: Grizzled Young Veterans Would Be A Great Addition

Before their debut was announced, Gisele Shaw said she thought the Grizzled Young Veterans would be a great addition.

“I met them in the UK when I was living there,” Gisele Shaw said. “They’ve just been so kind to me that they’re just great. And if they decide to come to IMPACT Wrestling, I think they would be a great addition. They want to wrestle and I feel like at TNA Wrestling next year, we’re making big moves. I feel like, as a fan, as a wrestler, I would love everyone to just hop on, to go on an adventure. It’s going to be amazing.”
