Carmelo Hayes Comments On Joining Potential New Hurt Business

Carmelo Hayes isn’t “desperate “thirsty” for membership in any group, but he teases that he would talk business with MVP.

MVP led the Hurt Business throughout the pandemic era in WWE, but the group ultimately broke up in 2022. Fans have often speculated about a potential revival of the group, possibly with new members.

Speaking with Armon Sadler for VIBE, Carmelo Hayes was asked about potentially joining a reformed Hurt Business.

“Shoot, that’d be cool,” Carmelo Hayes said. “Right now I’m so focused on what I got going on here in NXT. It’s going to take a lot more than just showing up and dapping me up to get me over there. I’m not thirsty for any membership. If they want me, they can holler at me and we can talk business. Respect to them [,though,] because they’re my brothers for real.”

Hayes recently competed in the WWE United States Championship Tournament on WWE SmackDown. In the first round, he beat Grayson Waller. Kevin Owens defeated Hayes in the second round on the December 22 episode of WWE SmackDown.
