The Hurt Business breakup is still being talked about. Even years later one of its key members has spoken up again it’s none other than former WWE star MVP.
The Hurt Business featuring MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and Cedric Alexander formed during the pandemic era. Even with no crowds and empty arenas they won titles and built strong momentum.
However, WWE decided to split them up too early, even before fans returned to arenas. Right when they were gaining serious traction. And not everyone agreed with that decision. While the group has reunited in AEW as The Hurt Syndicate with MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin.
Over the years, several former Hurt Business members have said that WWE ended the faction too quickly. Years later, MVP still described the breakup of the Hurt Business as a terrible creative decision.
