AEW continues to load up the card for AEW Worlds End.
As announced on the December 29 episode of AEW Rampage, Kris Statlander will face Willow Nightingale on the Zero Hour pre-show. The match was set up during a backstage segment on Friday night. Nightingale pointed out that they are both from Long Island, the site of the pay-per-view. The two stars made it clear that they cherished each other’s friendship. With that in mind, it seems like this bout will be a friendly contest.
However, Stokely Hathaway appeared and questioned Nightingale for taking so long to help Statlander when she got attacked on AEW Dynamite. Hathaway has interacted with Statlander multiple times recently, and fans will have to wait and see what happens next.
