Cody Rhodes did a tremendous good deed to kick off 2024.
In recent months, The Wrestling Club, based in New York and run by teacher Victor Taylor Perry, has been running a fundraising campaign to get the group of students to WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia.
Rhodes, who has done things for The Wrestling Club in the past, did the unthinkable last night by announcing that not only are The Wrestling Club’s tickets taken care of for WrestleMania 40, but their hotels are as well, tweeting out:
“I could buy a bunch of popcorn or I could just tell ya’ I’ve got your tickets and hotels. You’re going to Wrestlemania 40!” Cody Rhodes said in a post.
Perry was able to share Rhodes’ tweet with The Wrestling Club today, and no amount of words could do it justice. You can check out the video in the embedded tweet below.
