The Young Bucks are reportedly in town ahead of AEW Dynamite. Plus, the new AEW World Championship may be revealed on the show.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) confirms PWInsider‘s report that The Young Bucks are at Daily’s Place the site of the January 10 episode of AEW Dynamite. The former AEW World Tag Team Champions have been absent since they lost to Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega at AEW Full Gear. Sapp writes that several people who have not been around wanted to be at Wednesday’s show in Daily’s Place. Daily’s Place is widely seen as AEW’s home, and it served as such throughout the pandemic.
Sapp also writes that there was talk of debuting the new AEW World Championship on Wednesday. As previously reported, several cosmetic changes were made to the title. The reigning champion, Samoa Joe, is scheduled to appear live for the first time since he won the gold on Wednesday. He was featured in a taped promo the previous week.
