Eric Young Wrote The TNA Hard To Kill Promo, It Was Personal And Means Everything

This past weekend fans saw the beginning of the brand new era of professional wrestling. It was TNA’s Hard To Kill pay-per-view. It was the first show under the promotion’s rebranding of TNA. Former WWE Superstar Eric Young also shared a message with fans following the show.

TNA Wrestling shared a video featuring the highlights of the Hard to Kill pay-per-view. Former WWE Superstar Eric Young gave the voice-over for the video package. Following that, the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion mentioned that he meant every word he spoke in the video. Young also stated that all the wrestlers are in this together and they as a team are going to show everyone how good they are.

“This means everything, this IS personal and this WILL be remembered! I wrote this my self every word and was handed a great deal of responsibility and I meant EVERY FN WORD! We are all in this together TIME TO SHOW THEM ALL!!!!” Eric Young tweeted.

Eric Young says AEW is not his place

During an interview with Nick Hausman of Haus of Wrestling, Eric Young mentioned that he is in TNA Wrestling to stay. He also mentioned that he would not wrestle in AEW as he does not think that is the place for him.

“I talked with some friends there and people that I trust, and Tony had kind of mentioned that he was interested, but it just never materialized,” Eric Young said. “The truth is, I’m just going to get lost in the ether and in the mix like 60 other people there, right? The truth is I don’t have his confidence. Me and him aren’t close in any way, shape, or form.

“I’m kind of replacing one set of problems for another, and I have nothing against Tony Khan. From everything I know, he’s a very nice man. I met him a couple of times in passing. He treats the wrestlers with respect, he pays them very well, and is a very respectful man and a kind man. So, it’s nothing against the product or nothing against him. It’s just not my place. Impact Wrestling is my home, and that’s where I wanted to be. So that’s where I am.”
