Drew McIntyre keeps trolling.
CM Punk suffered a torn triceps in the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble. The injury seemingly occurred when Drew McIntyre hit him with a Future Shock DDT. Punk confirmed that he would be sidelined for several months on the January 29 episode of WWE RAW. McIntyre interrupted and said that he had prayed for Punk’s injury.
Over the next several days, McIntyre has made fun of Punk’s injury and his crushed dreams of headlining WrestleMania 40. McIntyre again mocked Punk with another tweet in which he parodied the former world champion’s entrance. He wrote, “It’s clobberin’ time” and said that he wanted to rename the Future Shock in CM Punk’s honor. McIntyre then asked for suggestions.
Time will tell whether McIntyre renames the Future Shock, but his feud with Punk continues to generate buzz nonetheless.
Drew McIntyre Seemingly Mocks Cody Rhodes
CM Punk is not Drew McIntyre’s only target. Over the weekend, McIntyre also took to Twitter to post the popular GIF of Cody Rhodes raising a hand to his ear, to indicate that he’s listening. The GIF ends with Rhodes smiling.
McIntyre made the post in the early hours of Saturday morning, just hours after Cody stepped aside as The Rock returned and confronted Roman Reigns on WWE SmackDown. It seems like McIntyre was making fun of the situation, given Rhodes’ known mission to finish the story.
Like Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul also took a shot at CM Punk on WWE SmackDown. More information is available here.
