Charlie Dempsey has won the gold.
On the February 27 episode of WWE NXT, Noam Dar defended the NXT Heritage Cup against a member of No Quarter Catch Crew, who was not revealed until it was time for the bout to begin. The challenger turned out to be Charlie Dempsey.
Dempsey and Dar battled back and forth. Myles Borne and other members of No Quarter Catch Crew interfered, and Dempsey ultimately scored the win. This marked his first title victory in WWE.
Dempsey, the son of William Regal, started wrestling for WWE on NXT UK in February 2021. He moved to NXT in 2022.
Dar was in his third reign with the NXT Heritage Cup. He won it for the third time by beating Nathan Frazer at NXT Heatwave on August 22.
