Hangman Page Swerves Swerve Strickland, Attacks Him On AEW Dynamite

Hangman Page has swerved Swerve.

To open the February 28 episode of AEW Dynamite, Hangman Page came out to the ring on crutches to address his status after seemingly suffering a leg injury on the February 21 Dynamite.

After discussing his journey back to a World Championship opportunity, Page announced that he will not be able to compete this Sunday at AEW Revolution in the scheduled three-way title bout against Swerve Strickland and Samoa Joe.

Strickland then interrupted right away shortly before Samoa Joe made his way out as well. Joe noted that whether he’s facing one of them or both of them, he’s going to win. Strickland then reminded Joe of the means he’ll go to just to win the AEW World title, including invading Page’s home to threaten his infant child.

In response, Page struck Strickland from behind with the crutch to send the real message that he’s still a factor at Revolution and will compete as advertised.

Tony Khan then confirmed that the three-way match was still on for the pay-per-view.

WrestleZone will have complete coverage of AEW Revolution as it airs this Sunday.
