AJ Styles is determined to win the WWE Championship again before he retires.
Speaking with Nic and Grant on Johnjay & Rich: After Words, AJ Styles was asked how many times he had been WWE Champion. He noted that he was a two-time champion, but he had his sights set on another reign.
“Twice,” he said. “I need that championship one more time before I call it quits.”
Styles also commented on attacking LA Knight at WWE Elimination Chamber. He noted that Knight had to pay the price for costing him the chance to qualify for the bout.
“I was hiding out because I’m committed to the beating that I was going to give LA Knight,” Styles said. “He’s the reason why I wasn’t in the Chamber in the first place. For some reason, he needed to be out there commenting. He’s a turd, and he had to pay the price for getting in my business.
