Tony Khan On Jack Perry: Stay Tuned, He’s Done Excellent Work In NJPW

Tony Khan comments on Jack Perry’s run in NJPW.

Jack Perry has been absent from AEW since he was involved in an altercation with CM Punk at AEW All In. The incident led to Punk’s termination from the company and Perry’s suspension. Perry made a surprise appearance at NJPW Battle in the Valley. He then wrapped up his first NJPW tour in the New Japan Cup on March 20.

Speaking with Liam Crowley of ComicBook Nation, Tony Khan was asked about Jack Perry’s run in NJPW and whether he planned on continuing what Perry has built there when he returns.

“I think you gotta stay tuned,” Tony Khan said. “Absolutely, Jack’s doing great things in New Japan, the New Japan Cup. He’s had a great run. He’s established himself over there, he feels he’s the Scapegoat. But he’s doing great things. He’s wrestling for a great promotion, and it’s been great tracking Jack’s progress in New Japan, and I think he’s done excellent work there.”

As of this writing, there is no word on when Jack Perry will return to AEW. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
