Report: Update On Minneapolis Potentially Hosting WWE WrestleMania 41

Minneapolis appears to be the likely host of WWE WrestleMania 41, according to a new report.

Minneapolis was previously reported to be a “possible and even likely” location for the show back in July 2023. Earlier in March, Minneapolis submitted its pitch to host the event.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that, per sources, Minnesota is operating under the assumption that they are landing the show. They have been hoping that an announcement is coming soon.

Sapp cites government officials who have hinted at an announcement of a major show. Meanwhile, the report notes that WWE sources would not confirm or deny the news. That being said, Sapp cites “people of influence within Minnesota” who have said they are prepared for the announcement about the show.

Sapp also notes that Minnesota officials have commented on potentially hosting the event. They previously leaked that they were a finalist city. The report also includes a quote from Governor Walz, who brought WrestleMania up at an event recently. Walz implied that it would be coming to the city as he pointed to the potential economic impact.

Update On Las Vegas Rumors

Sapp also addressed rumors that WrestleMania 41 is coming to Las Vegas. He cited sources who noted that they believed that any such deal would have been announced at the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff event in Las Vegas.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
