AEW Dynamite Viewership Increases On 4/3, Demo Stays Even

AEW Dynamite saw an increase in viewership on April 3.

According to Wrestlenomics, 752,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, drawing a 0.23 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week’s episode, when 747,000 viewers tuned in. The demo stayed even from last week‘s episode, which also drew a 0.23 rating in the same demographic.

What happened on AEW Dynamite this week?

This week’s show kicked off with Adam Copeland delivering a passionate speech to the pro wrestling world regarding negativity and tribalism, imploring people to enjoy all companies.

Elsewhere on the show, Will Ospreay and Bryan Danielson had back-to-back matches, picking up impressive victories over Will Hobbs and Lance Archer, respectively.

Thunder Rosa defeated Mariah May to earn the right to challenge Toni Storm at Dynasty. Storm was at ringside for the match doing commentary and was less than pleased by the outcome.

In the closing segment of the show, Swerve Strickland and Samoa Joe had a contract signing for their AEW World Championship match at Dynasty. The show ended with Joe putting Swerve through a table after Strickland signed the contract in blood.
