Two matches have been announced for the August 12 episode of WWE RAW.
As confirmed during the August 5 episode of RAW, Sami Zayn will get his rematch for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Bron Breakker will defend the gold against Zayn in a Two-Out-of-Three Falls Match. Breakker won the title by beating Zayn at WWE SummerSlam.
Plus, IYO SKY and Kairi Sane will also take on Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark. The winners of the bout will be the new number one contenders for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
This comes after Damage CTRL recently returned to WWE RAW and set their sights on Baszler, Stark, and Sonya Deville. Deville’s faction attacked Dakota Kai backstage on Monday, but SKY defeated her in singles action. Sane is a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion with Asuka, while SKY is a former WWE Women’s Champion.
