Our WWE NXT results for tonight include Shawn Spears defending the NXT North American Championship against Ricky Saints and former NXT Champion Trick Williams calling out the current. NXT Champion Oba Femi. Here’s our review and grades for tonight’s show, live from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

The Champ-Champ is Here!
The NXT Women’s and North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer is in the ring with NXT GM Ava. Ava puts over Vaquer as a quality champion. Ava notes that it’s not fair for Vaquer to hold both titles. Vaquer and Ava have come to the decision that their needs to be someone who can defend the North American Championship and give it its proper due. Because of that, Vaquer will relinquish the North American Championship. There will be a touney to determine a new champion.
Vaquer has one ask. If she gives up the North American Championship, she should get to pick her opponent for the Women’s Championship at Stand and Deliver. Jordynne Grace walks to the ring and says that now that Jaida Parker is out of the way, Grace can challenge Vaquer at Stand and Deliver. Jaida Parker interrupts and says she would have beat Vaquer last week if it wasn’t for Grace. Grace and Parker argue. Vaquer says it looks like these two need to work this out. Parker says “say less and decks Grace. Both women brawl.
Grade: B
Awesome opening segment. No one overstayed their welcome and they got to the point quick. Good stuff.
North American Championship Quailifyer: Zaria w/Sol Ruca vs. Lash Legend w/Jakara Jackson
Zaria and Legend trade big shots. Legend misses a big boot. Zaria lands a big spear. Zaria hits her finish for the win.
Winner- Zaria
Grade: B-
Good match. It seems like this may be Zaria’s time, as she was earmarked as the third pillar when Vaquer and Giulia were signed. Legend has made amazing progress and, at this point, should be featured as one of the top stars of the NXT women’s division. It’s odd that she seems to be a stepping stone for everyone else. There is no reason Zaria and Legend needed to match up in the opening round. Give them both tomato cans to fight to get in the dance.

After a bit of back and forth, the NQCC hit their finish on Hank for the win.

Trick Williams Has Something to Say
Williams calls out Oba Femi. Williams says he fought for this and lost a brother to get where he is today. Je’Von Evans interrupts. Evans and Williams argue. Evans tells Williams he isn’t Trick Williams anymore; he’s acting like Carmelo Hayes. NXT Champion Oba Femi walks to the ring. Everyone argues. Ava walks out on the stage and announces Femi will defend the NXT Championship in a triple threat match. A brawl breaks out. Darkstate hits the ring and destroys Femi and Evans. Williams is left in the ring. Darkstate attacks Williams.
Grade: B
Good segment. Williams may have been attacked, but he is still in the running to be the leader of Darkstate.

North American Championship Qualifier: Roxanne Perez vs. Kelani Jordan
After a long back and forth. Jordan lands a DDT and hits the split-legged moonsault for the win.

WWE NXT North American Championship Match: Shawn Spears (c) vs. Ricky Saints
Spears works over Saints. Dame tosses the title into the ring. Spear hit Saints with the championship. Saints kicks out. Spears sets up the C4. Saints escapes and takes out each member of the Culling. Saints fires up and hits his finish for the win.
Winner and NEW North American Champion, Ricky Saints
After the match, All Ego Ethan Page attacks Saints.
Grade: B+
Great match. Mission accomplished, getting Saints the North America Championship. This writer thought this would happen at Stand and Deliver, but that’s clearly not the case.
