Nia Jax has reacted to a recent report about her WWE status.
Jax hasn’t appeared on WWE television in a few weeks. She was last seen in action at Elimination Chamber 2025 in a tag match that featured Candice LeRae, Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus.
Nia took to X/Twitter to deny reports that she was not cleared to wrestle. The former WWE Women’s Champion had a one-word response to the rumors about her not being medically cleared for in-ring action.
WrestleVotes had reported on Nia Jax’s WWE status via its Backstage Pass platform. Nia didn’t say anything beyond denying the injury rumor. Fans may have to wait for tonight’s SmackDown to see if the Irresistible Force pops up during the show.

What has Nia Jax been up to on WWE TV?
Nia Jax recently spoke with Scott Fishman for TVInsider about her long-running storyline with Tiffany Stratton. The two were aligned at one point. However, they ended up beginning a feud after Stratton cashed in her Money In The Bank briefcase on Jax at SummerSlam, an event that was teased for several weeks.
Jax wants her title back, but she is happy to have been able to carry a storyline for almost a year.
“I love that. With our fanbase, they love the action and love watching a wrestling match, but they love sinking their teeth into a really good story,” she said.
“So, I’m honored that me and Tiffy have been able to portray a really good story the fans have loved. Obviously, she betrayed me, and I still have to get my lick back. I still have to get my title back, but I’m glad we were able to carry a story out beyond just a couple of weeks. It has been almost a whole year with what we were doing. I think that is what fans relate to,” added Jax.
Tonight’s episode of the blue brand will see Braun Strowman and Jacob Fatu collide in a Last Man Standing match. Also set for for this week is a singles matchup between B-Fab and Naomi. Plus, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns are advertised to appear.
