Karrion Kross sees the positives beyond his loss.
For weeks, Karrion Kross has tried to bring out a more dangerous side of AJ Styles. The reason? That’s how Styles can likely defeat Logan Paul at WrestleMania 41. According to Kross, beating Paul is imperative not just for Styles himself, but for all of the grinding members of the WWE roster, including him.
“I got a few reasons to be upset right now,” Kross said (on Twitter/X) following his loss to Styles on this week’s episode of WWE Raw. “Last time I had a singles match on Monday Night Raw was July 2024. So I got a shot tonight, first time on Netflix, and I lost. I’m also not on WrestleMania in my home of Las Vegas, but I got some other things to be happy about. Like tomorrow morning I’m going to wake up next to a naked Scarlett Bordeaux. I mean, that’s great. This other thing, though, no offense, I’m really happy about right now, is I got this sliver of the man that I’ve been trying to pull out of AJ styles. The AJ we need to win at WrestleMania and beat Logan Paul.”
This is bigger than just a match.

Kross Implores AJ Styles To Embrace The Violence
Since returning to action at the 2025 Royal Rumble, Kross believes Styles has gone out of his way to prove that he is not the same dangerous man he was when he faked his retirement and attacked Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes last year. Heading into WrestleMania, though, Kross implores Styles to embrace the violence. Kross encouraged Styles especially against Paul, who typically doesn’t fight fair and comes from a background in social media.
“Please, AJ, do what needs to be done tomorrow,” Kross said. “Do what needs to be done the next day and the day after that and after that until you get to Mania and then moving forward. because you winning at Mania represents so much more than you understand. All of us in the locker room, everything we’ve been through to get here and say we are WWE superstars, it has to mean something. It has to mean something and it’s on you. And if you lose, then maybe we all should have been YouTube stars. It’s on you, AJ. I need you to make me believe I didn’t subject myself to 11 years of this for nothing.”
During his match with Styles on Raw, Kross seemingly went down with an injured ankle. When Styles approached him, though, Kross rose back to his feet and fired off a slap on “The Phenomenal One.” This move seemingly lit a figurative fire under Styles as he responded with a series of strikes and later clutched the win with the Phenomenal Forearm.
