Could Charlotte Flair be the next scream queen?
Flair was at WWE World on Thursday, where she took part in a live auction on the Fanatics stage. During her appearance, Charlotte was asked about her ambitions in Hollywood. “The Queen” mentioned wanting to have children one day and reflected on some of her past acting roles, then revealed that she filmed a horror movie during her hiatus from WWE last year.
Flair also mentioned that she’s not sure if the film, which she did not name, will “ever see the light of day.” However, she would welcome the opportunity if one presented itself.
What role did Charlotte Flair play in the movie?
“I played Ms. Perfect, a serial killer. Performing in front of you guys and being able to feel the emotion, the instant gratification, whether you’re wooing, booing, cheering or whatever, I live for that. When I’m in the ring, it’s like my happy place,” Charlotte Flair said.
“But when I was playing Ms. Perfect, I really dug it. [laughs] I was like — I didn’t get to have the physicality or anything, but I did like it. So if I do have the opportunity to do something else like that, yeah [I’d be interested]. I just don’t know. It’s kinda like a waiting game,” Flair added. “Who knows? It’s like, do I fit that character or not, but I did really, really… I liked it,” she added.
Big E then reflected on how he and Charlotte both worked with James Roday Rodriguez on different projects. Charlotte reflected on her turn as “Heather Rockrear” on Psych and said that was played more for laughs, where this was a serious role she’s a little more familiar with.
“I think what made the Ms. Perfect role easier, was she is like a perfectionist [serial killer]. Like I could take some of my Charlotte mannerisms and put it into that character as well. It made it a little easier with that being the first [serious] role.”
