Hulk Hogan‘s Real American Freestyle promotion continues to add even more high-profile names.
On Friday, UFC star and Olympian Ben Askren took to social media to reveal that he had joined the company, and recently signed a contract. He said he was excited to get back into wrestling, and help teach young talent how to succeed.
Askren also said that one of his lifelong goals is to help a wrestling league succeed in America, and that RAF’s pitch to him was one that convinced him to join. Eric Bischoff also took to social media to share the news, saying that the group was going to have “so much fun” kicking ass.

RAF comes from Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff, and wrestling coach Israel “Izzy” Martinez. The three men intend to launch an unscripted freestyle wrestling league titled Real American Freestyle Wrestling.
Per a press release obtained by Forbes, Real American Freestyle Wrestling is an unscripted freestyle wrestling league involving storytelling and over 40 characters, which so far include former UFC fighter Ben Askren, former national champion Zahid Valencia, former Olympian and world champion Kennedy Blades.
