Shotzi Blackheart wants to bring a Halloween Havoc-style wrestling event to the independent circuit.
Former WWE star Shotzi Blackheart recently appeared on Fightful’s In The Weeds podcast. During the conversation, Shotzi was asked if fans might see her host a Halloween Havoc-style event on the indies.
“I have already pitched this,” she said. “Come October, you’re definitely going to see a Shotzi show coming somewhere. I don’t want to give too many details away. I hosted Halloween Havoc for years and I want to host another show in October. I’ve already got stuff cooking up. I’ll be hosting a show. I want to see it gimmicked up. I want everyone to have a spooky gimmick. Everyone spinning the wheel and making a deal. I’m going to bring my own version of Halloween Havoc to you this October.” [H/T Fightful]
Shotzi was booked to host NXT Halloween Havoc in 2020 when WWE revived the classic WCW PPV for their developmental brand. She would return to co-host the 2022 edition of Halloween Havoc with Quincy Elliott.
Shotzi Blackheart reveals who called her first after WWE departure
Shotzi revealed during a recent interview with Denise Salcedo that Charlotte Flair was the first person to call her in the aftermath of Blackheart’s WWE exit.
“She was honestly the first person that called me,” Shotzi revealed. “Like when that news hit, she was the first person to call me. And she was like, ‘What do you need me to do? What connections can I pull? What do you want? I will help you.’
“She has just been such a rock for me. And I hope me for her as well, just because like we were doing ACL rehab at the same time. And yeah, we were just there for each other. She has been somebody like a person that I’ve cried to during that whole process. She’s just been so great.”
Charlotte Flair failed to qualify for WWE Queen of the Ring during the tournament’s opening round on 6/13 SmackDown. Fans can catch The Queen in action every Friday on the blue brand.
