Hangman Page Reflects On AEW World Title Win At All In: Texas

This past weekend was one of AEW’s biggest shows of the year, AEW All In: Texas. The main event of the night was a Texas Death Match for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship between the champion, Jon Moxley and the challenger, Hangman Adam Page.

Both wrestlers gave everything they had. It was one of the most brutal matches in AEW history. Chains, a bed of nails, broken glass bottles, chairs, and many more weapons were used. The Death Riders were in Moxley’s corner. Many wrestlers also got involved to even the odds. Will Ospreay, Swerve Strickland, and Darby Allin all came to the aid of Hangman Adam Page. Also, to everyone’s surprise, the American Dragon Bryan Danielson also made his return and got his revenge against the Death Riders.

Finally, Adam Page wrapped a steel chain around Moxley’s neck and hung him on the apron. The champion finally tapped out, and thus, Hangman Adam Page became the new AEW World Heavyweight Champion.

Following the win, the newly crowned AEW World Heavyweight Champion took to social media to post a thank you note for the fans and his family. Page also mentioned that he hadn’t slept in four days.

“thank you for everything. i dont have the words to do the feeling justice because i havent slept in four days but ill try to find them by wednesday,” Hangman Adam Page posted.

What was your reaction to watching the brutal Texas Death Match?
