Major Production Botch Makes It To Air At TNA Slammiversary

TNA Slammiversary was a night full of great moments, and unfortunately, a moment that wasn’t supposed to be seen by viewers.

Slammiversary took place at the UBS Arena on Sunday night. During the broadcast, a production error made it to air during the show. The issue happened during a backstage promo by The Elegance Brand. The group successfully retained their TNA Knockouts Tag Team titles against The IInspiration earlier in the show.

The Elegance Brand (Ash By Elegance, M by Elegance, Heather by Elegance, and The Concierge) was seen waiting for a countdown from the production crew. This was clearly not supposed to make it to air, as the promo would have normally aired starting with Ash by Elegance fanning herself already in progress.

The Elegance Brand promo continued as planned

The Elegance Brand went on to deliver the promo as planned, seemingly unaware of what occurred. The group was seen bragging about their successful title match and talking about how to celebrate in New York City. However, The IInspiration interrupted them and got into an argument about the way they won the match. The win came thanks to an “assist” by a toy Liberty torch wielded by M during the bout.

Production errors happen all the time in live sports and entertainment events. Slammiversary also featured some minor camera cut and sound issues, but those didn’t take away from the show. Unfortunately, this one was so obvious that it has fans talking for the wrong reasons.

TNA Slammiversary saw a winner takes all match between TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich and NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne. The show also saw the return of AJ Styles, and a controversial ending to the main event between Trick Williams, Joe Hendry and Mike Santana.
