Fresh off capturing the TNA World Championship at Slammiversary, Nic Nemeth wasted little time reminding everyone of his resume.
During the July 2 episode of TNA Impact, the new champion reeled off a lengthy list of former opponents that included several of WWE’s biggest names, giving fans a nostalgic trip down memory lane.
The promo wasn’t just about celebrating his title victory. Nemeth used his past accomplishments to send a clear message to anyone thinking about stepping up for the championship.

Addressing the crowd after defeating Mike Santana to win the TNA World Championship, Nemeth responded to chatter about his “body count” before his brother Ryan Nemeth unrolled a list of wrestlers he claimed to have “put down” throughout his career.
Among the names Nemeth read aloud were WWE stars John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Kane and The Miz.
He also mentioned Samoa Joe, Jeff Hardy, Bobby Roode, Matt Cardona, Zack Ryder, Ultimo Dragon, Evan Bourne and several versions of John Morrison’s ring names, including Johnny Nitro, Johnny Mundo, Johnny TV and Johnny Mexico.
The moment served as a reminder of Nemeth’s lengthy career, much of which was spent competing against many of WWE’s biggest stars before arriving in TNA. Rather than resting on his championship victory, he made it clear that his past achievements are only adding fuel to his current title reign.
The celebration didn’t last long, however. KC Navarro interrupted the segment, saying he didn’t like the way Nemeth’s mentor was carrying himself. Ryan Nemeth fired back by accusing Navarro of being jealous because he was Nic’s “real brother,” leading to a heated exchange.
Instead of letting the confrontation continue, Nic proposed settling the issue in the ring later that night, booking Ryan against Navarro. Before leaving, the new champion declared himself “the greatest pro wrestler” and warned that anyone who challenged him would simply become another name added to his ever-growing list. Talk about making a statement before the opening bell even rings.
