John Cena Explains Why One Of His Signature Moves Won’t Be Returning

John Cena has no intentions of bringing back one of his infamous signature moves.

During a recent appearance at Fan Expo Denver, Cena was asked if he’d ever thought of bringing back the springboard stunner he debuted against Rusev at WrestleMania 31.

The Undisputed WWE Champion asked the person if they’d watched the match, to which the fan replied affirmatively.

“So, you know, the answer is no right here,” Cena joked before adding, “I don’t know. Anything could happen, you know? Yeah, anything could happen. But me and gravity, I realized, are good friends. I thought, man, I’m going to jump off the second rope, fly like an eagle, and I realized that I’m just not good.

“It was good, though, so you’re the one guy that thinks it was good. I will tell you—and I know I’m promoting my competition here—I think Cody Rhodes has cornered the market on that maneuver,” Cena added.

John Cena Names His Mount Rushmore

Elsewhere during the Q&A, John Cena was asked to name his Mount Rushmore of Professional Wrestling. He paused for a moment to think about it before giving the following answer:

“Mount Rushmore is… Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln and Roosevelt,” John Cena deadpanned, holding up four fingers on his hand. “That is my Mount Rushmore.”

Cena is set to defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes in a Street Fight at SummerSlam.

WrestleZone will have full coverage of the PLE as it airs on August 2 and 3.
