Nikki Bella has been doing press for her role in Happy Gilmore 2, but it sounds like she doesn’t have a significant part in the final cut.
This week’s episode of the Nikki and Brie show saw the Bella Twins discussing Nikki’s role in Happy Gilmore 2. Nikki plays a spectator in the film and was briefly seen in a trailer released earlier this year. However, Nikki says her speaking parts have been cut from the final film.
“Happy Gilmore 2 was awesome, I laughed the whole time. There was so much I didn’t know. Now, I remember hearing a few months ago that 20 minutes was going to have to get cut out [of the final cut of the movie]. I’ve been praying that it wouldn’t be my stuff. Well, guess what? All my talking stuff got cut,” Nikki Bella explained. “It’s not just me, it’s the whole group of people I filmed with. Our — I don’t want to give too much away, but the group, the characters that I had to work with, the majority of our funny scenes got taken out.”

Nikki then confirmed didn’t know it until she saw the film in the theatre at the premiere.
“Wait, did you find out while you were sitting [at the premiere] watching?” Brie asked.
“Yes,” Nikki replied.
Nikki said she understands why it happened and praised the film itself, despite her disappointment that her speaking parts got cut.
It’s worth noting that Becky Lynch also plays one of the spectators in the gallery during one of Nikki’s scenes. Both were spotted standing next to each other in the trailer, appearing at the 1:43 mark. Mike Johnson of PWInsider previously reported that Becky Lynch would play a golfer in a “supporting role.” However, it’s unknown how much of their scenes made the final cut, or if any of Lynch’s performance was cut too.
Happy Gilmore 2 premieres on Netflix on July 25; AEW star MJF has a feature role as one of Happy Gilmore’s sons, Gordie.
