Kevin Nash Reacts Harshly to Criticism Of Hulk Hogan After His Death

Kevin Nash made it clear he doesn’t support the negative comments people have made about WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan after his passing.

On his Kliq This podcast, Nash talked about how shocked he was to hear the news. He said it didn’t feel real and that he truly believed Hulk Hogan would pull through. “They always called him ‘The Immortal’ Hulk Hogan and to me, man, it was just like even when I heard what Bubba was saying, I just knew he’d kick out. I just knew. I knew I’d get on the phone with him.”

Nash shared that he thought about driving two hours to Hogan’s home in Florida, hoping to see him one last time. “Two weeks ago, if I’d made the drive out there, if somebody had told me what kind of condition [he was in], I wouldn’t have needed five minutes. After four minutes of putting each other over, I would have just said: ‘I love you.’ Thanks for the rub.”

Kevin Nash says critics should lay off Hulk Hogan now that he’s dead

Kevin Nash also defended Hogan’s legacy. He strongly criticized those who used the moment to bring up past controversies, including Hogan’s use of racist slurs. Nash said people should think about Hogan’s family and friends before speaking negatively.

“For the people who want to go after Hogan for doing this or that. You know what? How about f*** you, man. He’s dead. How about his kids, man? Can you just lay off the man? Ain’t nothing going to change now. Think about his kids. Think about his friends and his family and if you don’t have anything good to say, shut the f*** up.” [H/T: pwmania]

Kevin Nash shared a strong and lasting friendship with Hulk Hogan that began during their time in WCW. Together, along with the late WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall, they formed the iconic and controversial NOW faction.
