Vince McMahon‘s recent reckless driving that caused a car accident has been a discussion within WWE as of late.
Yesterday, TMZ Sports reported that Vince McMahon was involved in a bad car accident on July 24. McMahon’s driving caused the accident, and he was issued a misdemeanor summons for reckless driving. He will be required to appear in court next month over these charges.
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select) has more details and reactions on the incident and what people behind the scenes in WWE are saying regarding McMahon’s driving.
Sapp reports that long-time employees and those close to McMahon often referred to him as an erratic driver. While some people would use the term in a joking manner, they were also being serious.
Vince McMahon’s erratic driving has been an issue for decades and not something that’s come with old age. So much so that people in McMahon’s close circle would intentionally not ride with him when he offered to drive them somewhere.
While McMahon was driven around a lot while on the road with WWE, he enjoyed being behind the wheel. His Bentley, which was likely totaled in last week’s accident, retailed for $250,000.
