Ashante Adonis has left WWE after the company didn’t renew his contract.
The real-life Tehuti Miles took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce his WWE departure after six years with the company.
“After 6 unforgettable years under the WWE lights, the time has come for me to close that chapter,” he wrote. “I’m filled with nothing but gratitude for every opportunity, the experiences, lessons, and incredible talent I’ve had the chance to work with.
“I’m truly excited to show the world what I can really do. Sometimes you gotta get off multiplayer and progress your story mode. I believe i’m the face of the future and the reason your girl stopped texting you back ?”

Ashante Adonis made his WWE debut under the ring name Elijah King back in 2019, when he lost against Braun Strowman in a 2-on-1 Handicap match. He officially signed with the promotion in 2020 and competed on both 205 Live and NXT, where he formed Hit Row alongside Isaiah “Swerve” Scott (aka Swerve Strickland), Top Dolla (aka A.J. Francis) and B-Fab.
Adonis would be released, alongside the rest of the Hit Row in 2021, before returning to the company in 2022. He’d quietly form a tag team with Cedric Alexander in December before returning to NXT as a solo act in July 2024. His final storyline prior to exit saw him play Karmen Petrovic’s on-screen love interest.
