WWE SmackDown Viewership & Demo Revealed For 8/15 Episode

WWE SmackDown saw a decrease in viewership on August 15.

According to Wrestlenomics, SmackDown averaged 1.430 million viewers on Friday. The show drew a 0.35 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week’s episode, when an average of 1.557 million viewers tuned in. The demo also rose from last week’s show (0.48 rating in the same demographic).

What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?

This week’s show kicked off with an in-ring promo from Solo Sikoa and the MFTs. He was interrupted by Sami Zayn, who announced he’s been moved to SmackDown and is coming after the United States Championship. Zayn attacks the MFTs and is saved by Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu, setting up the main event.

The Street Profits defeated DIY in tag team action.

Elsewhere on the show, Alexa Bliss defeated Piper Niven and Melo Don’t Miz defeated Fraxiom.

In the main event of the evening, Sami Zayn, Jacob Fatu, and Jimmy Uso defeated Solo Sikoa, Talla Tonga, and Tonga Loa.
