WWE SmackDown saw an increase in viewership on August 8.
According to Wrestlenomics, SmackDown averaged 1.557 million viewers on Friday. The show drew a 0.48 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week’s episode, when an average of 1.544 million viewers tuned in. The demo also rose from last week’s show (0.46 rating in the same demographic).

What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?
This week’s show kicked off with an in-ring promo from John Cena. He was interrupted by Logan Paul and sneak-attacked from behind by Drew McIntyre. Cody Rhodes made the save, setting up the show’s main event.
The MFTs defeated the Motor City Machine Guns in tag team action.
Elsewhere on the show, Charlotte Flair defeated Chelsea Green after she interrupted Flair’s birthday party for Alexa Bliss.
In the main event of the evening, John Cena and Cody Rhodes defeated Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre via disqualification.
