Tony Schiavone pushed back against critics who questioned the AEW All Out match card.
This weekend, AEW All Out is set to take place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The show has announced eleven exciting matches for the fans, with five of them being title matches.
Some fans have argued that the card lacks star power since Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland are unavailable. Still, the lineup includes major names such as Jon Moxley, MJF, Adam Copeland, Christian Cage, Mercedes Moné and Toni Storm.
AEW commentator Tony Schiavone responded to critics on the What Happened When podcast. He was asked, with Kenny Omega hurt, Will Ospreay out, and Swerve Strickland unavailable, could AEW even put together a competitive card?
Schiavone fired back, pointing out, “So, the critics were saying, that we weren’t going to have a good card.” Conrad Thompson said, “Well, they said, ‘With three of your top guys out, I mean, how can you possibly carry on?’ Well, the answer is, have about 14 top guys.”
Schiavone added, “Well, why don’t we do this? Why don’t we get one of those critics on here and have them book a card for us? See how they come up with one. I’m all for that. Find them, bring them on, have them book a card. Okay and as we have them book a card, we should have them go f*ck themselves too. How’s that sound?”
