Masha Slamovich is no longer being advertised for TNA Victory Road.
The former TNA Knockouts World Champion is in hot water after screenshots of her alleged conversations with former partner and fellow pro wrestler AKIRA surfaced online. In multiple social media posts, one of AKIRA’s friends accused Slamovich of domestic abuse, prompting TNA to launch an internal investigation.
AKIRA also released a lengthy statement regarding his past relationship, without naming Slamovich directly. Following the allegations, Masha was pulled from several scheduled appearances. Notably, TNA removed the official advertisement for Slamovich’s scheduled Knockouts Championship match against Ash By Elegance at Victory Road.
The company seemingly confirmed Slamovich’s status for the September 26 event during tonight’s episode of TNA iMPACT. In the closing moments of the broadcast, Tom Hannifan ran down the line-up for TNA Victory Road, which made no mention of the Knockouts Championship match—implying the bout has been dropped.
