A major title match has been announced to kick off the WWE NXT vs. TNA Showdown.
WWE NXT announced via X (formerly Twitter) that The Hardy Boyz (Matt and Jeff Hardy) Winner Take All match with DarkState (Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin) will open tonight’s Showdown event, tweeting out:
“The Winner Take All Tag Team Championship Match between @ThisIsTNA Tag Team Champion, The Hardy Boyz, and #WWENXT Tag Team Champion, DarkState, will KICK OFF #NXTShowdown TONIGHT! ? 8ET/7CT on @TheCW,” per the annoucement.
The Hardy Boyz have held the TNA World Tag Team Titles since Slammiversary 2025, where they defeated The Nemeths, FIR$T CLA$$, and The Rascalz in a four-way ladder match. Meanwhile, DarkState captured the NXT Tag Team Championship at WWE Heatwave 2025 by defeating Hank and Tank.

- The Hardy Boyz (c) vs. DarkState (c) — Winners Take All match for the TNA and NXT Tag Team Championships
- Ethan Page (c) vs. Mustafa Ali — Singles match for the NXT North American Championship
- Team NXT (Jacy Jane, Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, and Jaida Parker) vs. Team TNA (Kelani Jordan, The IInspiration, and Mara Sade) — 4-on-4 Women’s Survivor Series tag team match with Jordynne Grace as the special guest referee
- Team NXT (Ricky Saints, Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans, and Myles Borne) vs. Team TNA (Mike Santana, Moose, Frankie Kazarian, and Leon Slater) — 4-on-4 Men’s Survivor Series tag team match with Joe Hendry as the special guest referee
