A top star may have suffered an injury at a WWE NXT house show.
WWE’s developmental brand came to Columbus, Ohio, for a live event on October 9. One of the matches featured NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley against ZaRUCA (ZARIA and Sol Ruca).
However, social media footage showed Jayne lying on the outside as the referee threw up the ‘X’ sign, indicating a potential injury. A user on Reddit claimed the NXT Women’s Champion grabbed her quadriceps toward the end of the match before tagging out.
Jayne was reportedly helped to the back by WWE’s medical team. Injuries are never good to begin with, but this is the worst possible time for Jacy Jayne to be bitten by the injury bug, as she’s been on an incredible run as NXT Women’s Champion.
The Fatal Influence star previously held double gold, reigning as the TNA Knockouts World Champion — a title she dropped to Ash by Elegance at WWE Heatwave 2025. Ash later relinquished the title at Victory Road for undisclosed reasons. The same event saw Kelani Jordan win the vacant championship.
Jordan’s first defense of the title is set for TNA Bound For Glory against Indi Hartwell. It remains to be seen which of these two women will walk out as champion on October 12 in Lowell, Massachusetts.
WrestleZone wishes Jacy Jayne all the best in these trying times.
