Matt Jackson Believes This AEW Star Would Have Easily Fit In The Bullet Club

Matt Jackson praised Jack Perry, saying the former AEW TNT Champion would have been a perfect fit for The Bullet Club.

In an interview with Justin Barrasso of Undisputed, Jackson explained that Perry shares many traits with The Young Bucks. “I think Jack would’ve fit in very easily during the Bullet Club days,” Matt Jackson said. “He’s a lot like us in many ways. Young, handsome, and confident–and he seems to have a chip on his shoulder, something we’ve had for 21 years now. We bust his chops a lot, like in an older brother way. It’s because we love him and think highly of him.”

In 2024, Perry was briefly associated with the Bullet Club. On the other hand, the former member of the Bullet Club, Matt Jackson, who had a lot of high praise about the former AEW TNT Champion, just had their match against Jurassic Express at AEW WrestleDream 2025.

In that match, the stipulation stated that the winners would receive $500,000. The Young Bucks, who are currently desperate for money, suffered a loss. After their loss to Jurassic Express, a possible babyface turn was teased.

As Jurassic Express extended his hand to The Bucks, but before anything could happen, the Don Callis Family attacked. Kenny Omega rushed to the ring to help Jurassic Express, while The Bucks watched from the entrance ramp, visibly conflicted about not stepping in. This moment hinted at a potential babyface turn and a reunion with Omega.
